Ha Noi: Imperial Citadel of Thang Long launches online ticket booking system

(TITC) - From 15th June 2023, Thang Long - Ha Noi Heritage Conservation Center will officially launch an online ticket booking system via its website. Visitors can go online and book tickets instead of queuing to buy tickets at the counter.

The launching of online ticket booking system at the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long is one of activities to respond the Decision No. 553/QĐ-TCDL of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism dated on 11 April 2023 on the implementation of Project “Application of Industry 4.0’s technology to develop smart tourism, spreading tourism to become a key economic sector”  approved by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism at the Decision No. 3570/QĐ-BVHTTDL dated on 21 December 2022.

Accordingly, Thang Long - Ha Noi Heritage Conservation Center is constantly applying technological solutions to promote the cultural value of the heritage site in order to bring domestic and international tourists many memorable experiences.

Thereby, the website   http://vedientu.hoangthanhthanglong.com/vi/node/add/book-ticket will be launched from 15th June 2023 for visitors to book tickets online.

After successfully buying tickets from the system, visitors will receive ticket information via registered email. At the ticket gate of the heritage site, visitors just need to scan the QR code to go through and start the exciting journey back to the past.

The online booking system is expected to provide visitors favourable and convenient experiences, especially during the peak time of the year.

From 15th June to 31st August, Thang Long Heritage Conservation Center - Ha Noi offers visitors incentives when booking online such as 10% off when buying tickets for the night tour Decoding Thang Long Imperial Citadel, 10% discount when renting costumes at Viet Phuc Hoang Thanh, free photography at Thang Long Imperial Citadel virtual studio; Up to 20% off drinks at Thang Long Imperial Citadel book cafe library.
